Lafayette Grocery & Dairy is a revamped neighborhood grocery store, specialty café & deli in the heart of Fort Greene which has been around since the 1930’s

We carry a wide array of quality products, from everyday staples to outstanding new finds specially sourced by our buyers.

We make all our sandwiches fresh throughout the day using only the best ingredients using fresh baked bread from Balthazar bakery . So whether you’re grabbing one of our Famous BEC , Caprese, Chicken Parm, you can be sure it’ll taste great, even on the go.

Our Specialty Espresso Bar serves excellent barista Coffee, Espresso, Cappuccino, Lattes using famous Café Vita beans . We proudly use Grady’s Louisiana style for our house Cold Brew!

At Lafayette we are passionate about our craft beer and cider selection . We support local Breweries like Other Half, GRIMM Sixpoint, Talea, KCBC and much more. We get some of the rarest small batch beers available in New York all the way to Vermont (Maine Brewery, The Alchemist, West Kill Brewery, Sloop and more , We make sure we have the most unusual and best beers available, as well as the staples imports and exotics.
